Join Sol Y Raíz (solyraiz) in collaboration with ArtClub. for an intimate Eco Printing Workshop on Sunday, September 27th | 11:00 AM–1:00 PM.
Together, we’ll explore the art of natural dyes and eco printing, discovering how native and cultivated plants can leave their beautiful, one-of-a-kind impressions on silk. Each participant will create their own eco-printed silk scarf a wearable keepsake infused with the colors, textures, and spirit of the season.
Guiding the experience is Karla Mejia, the artist behind Sol Y Raíz, a Los Angeles-born Latinx educator, naturalist, and artist. Through stories, plant knowledge, and hands-on practice, Karla will offer a deeper connection to the native and cultivated plants that surround us, revealing their remarkable dye potential and inviting us to see the landscape through a new lens.
Come slow down, create with the earth, and leave with a piece of nature to carry with you.
